Made for the entire south

Every year, Louisiana celebrates its unique carnival history in the form of Mardi Gras. The season brings joy, excitement, and the memorable pastry king cakes. Louisiana is its own special place, but it is still situated in the Deep South. I grew up around some of the finest biscuits in the Deep South, coming from my grandmother's Louisiana kitchen. Having lived in Virginia and North Carolina, and spent in-law time in Alabama, it's only natural to combine the sweetness of the seasonal king cake with the salty southern-style biscuits of the South.
